I don't know whether this is a generic dialog issue, or something specific to profile manager... I just installed redhat 6.1 with gnome, did a build and ran it. It seemed to discover my 4.x profile and I selected it and clicked the start mozilla button. The system seemed to hang. Later I discovered what was happening: After clicking "start mozilla", a dialog was coming up offering to migrate my profile. But in gnome, you get 4 virtual desktops which you can select between, and although I was launching the browser from the desktop in the lower right corner of the desktop selector, the dialog was coming up in the desktop in the upper right. Must be some sort of x attributes problem or something that's confusing the window manager.
