In Firefox 1.0, often when I switch tabs or load a new page, Find As You Type
refuses to respond (I have both accessibility.typeaheadfind and
accessibility.typeaheadfind.linksonly set to true). It seems that I have to
press Ctrl+L, then tab, to get this functionality to work.

Reproducible: Sometimes
Steps to Reproduce:
Not reliably reproducible, unfortunately.
Same result here with a recent trunk nightly. I usually get Find As You Type to
work by switching to a different tab then back to the original tab.

This continues to be a problem with the latest trunk nightly. Possibly related
is that even when Find As You Type works to move to a link, the focus is not
actually on that link when hitting 'enter'--sometimes I have to tab and
shift-tab after moving to the link with Find As You Type for it to work.

Inconsistent Find As You Type is really hurting Firefox useability for me.
Hoping I can bump up the urgency of this bug.
This is likely a dup of Bug 270546.
