User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.5) Gecko/20041109 Firefox/1.0 (MOOX M3) Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.5) Gecko/20041109 Firefox/1.0 (MOOX M3) There should be some kind of cache added for this. So if the word tweakers is first entered it will look it up on Google. Then it should got to the site "www.tweakers.net" and save this in a cache. Next time tweakers is entered it should get it from the cache and go to the site instantly. Every item in the cache could be refreshed every 20 days or so. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Type a word in the address bar such as tweakers 2. It looks up the word on Google 3. It returns www.tweakers.net Actual Results: It returned www.tweakers.net after some delay Expected Results: It should go to www.tweakers.net instantly.

This won't work, because the first result in the I'm Feeling Lucky search will change over time.

Yes that is true. But that's why I said every item should be refreshed in a amount of days. Example every 20 days.

This is a WONTFIX. There is no real benefit from implementing this feature, because all you want Firefox to do is cache Google results. The end result is that the user sees the same thing happen, but it just takes a second longer. Adding code for this doesn't make sense. In short, there is no functionality benefit. Learn to use full URLs or bookmarks for sites you need to access *that* frequently.
