RESOLVED DUPLICATE of bug 206651

(Reporter: dwalker07, Assigned: bugzilla)

Details

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.7.5) Gecko/20041107 Firefox/1.0
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.7.5) Gecko/20041107 Firefox/1.0

When the preference sheet is active, all the main menus are disabled. This
includes the Edit menu and the items within it. This prevents using the Copy,
Cut, Paste, Delete, or Select All commands in the Edit menu on any text fields
in the Preference sheet. These commands are still accessible to the text fields
through a contextual menu, but (I think) the Edit menu versions still need to be
active (when appropriate).

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Open the Preferences sheet
2.Place the cursor within any text field in the sheet
3.

Actual Results:
The edit commands under the Edit menu are all (still) disabled.

Expected Results:
Enabled the appropriate "Copy", "Cut", "Paste", "Delete", and "Select All" menu
items.
Result of bug 21296.

but will be fixed when the pref' window will be a normal window on mac and
linux (not "sheet").
