User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; SunOS sun4u; en-US; rv:1.8a4) Gecko/20041105 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; SunOS sun4u; en-US; rv:1.8a4) Gecko/20041105 When reading mail or news with the "View: Unread" filter turned on, the message listing pane is refreshed when the server periodically queried for new messages/news. When it is refreshed, the newly read messages disappear and the pane scolls to the top. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open a folder that has many unread messages and also has a periodic update set. 2. Set view to "Unread" 3. Read one or more messages. 4. Wait until next periodic server query. 5. When server is queried, the newly read messages will disappear from the view. Actual Results: 5. When server is queried, the newly read messages will disappear from the view. Expected Results: Add new messages to the view without removing old ones.

Double checked, and the pane does not actually scroll up, but the messages are removed. Sorry for the confusion.

please update to a newer build - this was fixed several weeks ago.
