Details

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.7.5) Gecko/20041107 Firefox/1.0
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.7.5) Gecko/20041107 Firefox/1.0

If I login to any website where I need to logon to identify myself, the logged
on session details are then shared accross all open instances of Firefox. Let's
say I have two accounts at the same site (eg online banking, webstats, call
usage etc) I cannot open the two sites simultaneously with seperate logon
details as the second
opening of the same site is picking up on the session variables from the site
that is already open.

Another frustrating scenario is if I visit an online shop that uses session
variables for the basket I cannot open two Firefox browsers of the same website
with different basket contents in each as the second instance picks up the
basket of the first one.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:

1.http://www.batterylogic.co.uk
2.add an item to the basket
3.open another Firefox browser on the same machine
4. visit http://www.batterylogic.co.uk
Actual Results:

the basket from the first open Firefox browser is displayed

Expected Results:

have no session variables set at it is a new session

I get the same problem on windows 98, ME and 2000
I have to shut down every open Firefox browser to start again which is a shame
because I'm used to having more than one instance of IE open at the same time
and switch between them.
