269506 - Doesn't verify RSS feed

When I try to add this feed: "http://littlegreenfootballs.com/weblog/weblog.rss"
it doesn't verify it. It says verifying feed and the progress bar goes almost
all the way to the right, and then it hangs. This same RSS feed works fine in
Firefox as a live bookmark. Thunderbird works fine on other RSS feeds (examples:
http://www.captainsquartersblog.com/mt/index.xml, http://slashdot.org/index.rss).

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Go to Tools-->Account Settings
2. Click on News & Blogs
3. Click on Manage Subscriptions
4. Click Add
5. Paste "http://littlegreenfootballs.com/weblog/weblog.rss" into "Feed URL" field
6. Press OK
Actual Results:  
It says verifying feed and the progress bar goes almost all the way to the
right, and then it hangs.

Expected Results:  
Verified the feed and then started to download the articles.

Please reopen this as it still fails with version 1.0.2 (20050317).  See also
https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=259777#c22 on the fixed 'duplicate'.
