Right now installing an extension/theme for thunderbird is not as easy as it
could be. It would be nice if the extension/theme manager is separated into a
standalone application and accepts .xpi files. It will automatically detect
which program this extension is made for and install it to the appropriate
directory. This should make it easier users to install extensions for any
software through firefox. It also allows the extension/theme manager to be
shared between applications, which makes it easier for the developers to
maintain its codebase.

Reproducible: Always
