It make is so much faster and easier to take URL's from other applications and 
view them in the browser if we have the ability to paste and go with one action.

I looked and did not see a setting to allow us to do this. 

Is it posible to design this in?

verified duplicate.
Status: RESOLVED → VERIFIED
You can get most if not all the way there if you use about:config and change 
middlemouse.contentLoadURL to true. Just like it is on Linux.
