Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.7.5) Gecko/20041107 Firefox/1.0
For example in Finnish there are alphabets that don't belong to a-z range. For
example ä and ö. If these non English characters are found in a folder name, the
Firefox succesfully opens the page, unless it's trying to open it into a tab.
Also, if the page fails to open, the tab won't close if you try to close it
right mouse button and "close tab" or from the first tab and "close other tabs"
This is annoying, because in Finnish Windows versions, the Desktop is Työpöytä,
so opening html files on desktop is a real pain.
If you drag&drop the html file into the tab, it opens fine.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. I think you need to have the option: "a new tab in most recent window"
selected from options.
2. Create a folder like D:\ätest\
3. Insert index.html file there with empty content
4. Double click the file to open it, it should open fine
5. Double click the file to open it in a tab, it should give an error message
Actual Results:
On the second double click an error message popup appeared: "The file
/d:/%E4test/index.htm cannot be found. Please check the location and try again."
If you try to close the tab which failed to open document, you can't do that.
(Right button and from the menu "close tab")
Expected Results:
The page should open fine, and even if it doesn't open, the tab should close if
so commanded.
