Don't know if this is the right place for this, I'm submitting here because the
FAQ directs requests to add new extensions to update.mozilla.org page here.

I would like an extension that can show live sports scores (MLB & NFL are what
I'm interested in, but if this was available, I'm sure many folks would
appreciate all sports).

Perhaps updates for selected teams can pop up (similar to the Gmail notifier or
weather), and one or two favorites can show live scores in the status bar.

I wish I knew how to code!

Nope, this is the right place to ask to have the extension you've written listed
at u.m.o, but not the right place to ask someone else to write it. For that, you
