When composing a message and using the backspace key to delete or edit; the
cursor disappears and invisibly goes to the top left of the message window and
begins writing letters in reverse oreder; e.g., "time" would be written as
"emit". Other times, when I notice the cursor as disappeared, I can show it by
clicking the left mouse button at the location I want the cursor to be.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.
2.
3.
HTML mail composition, I presume.

Have you done anything to set up for right-to-left composition (typically used
for Arabic or Hebrew)? Are you using templates? Replying to a message?

Try this: start a message composition, type a character, then save the message
as a draft. Go the Drafts folder, select the message, and from the menus select
View|Message Source.

In the window, you'll see the HTML in place for the message. Do any of the tags
have dir=rtl as an attribute?
