User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.7.5) Gecko/20041107 Firefox/1.0
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.7.5) Gecko/20041107 Firefox/1.0

I'm trying to read web-based email from Verizon DSL's web site. But I can't
even get to the login page because Firefox (and Mozilla actually had the same
problem) seems to not support a javascript method that is being used.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
0. Start browser
1. go to dslstart.verizon.net
2. click on "Email & More"
A blank page shows when it should be showing a login page

Actual Results:
blank page
and the Javascript console error:
Error: window.navigate is not a function
Source File:
http://sso.verizon.net/portal/protected/LoginSuccessServlet?id_based=yes_rm
Line: 12

Expected Results:
It should have shown a login page.

I'm not sure where the problem lies, but Firefox and Mozilla have always been
giving me trouble with this site...sometimes, after I hit "reload" I get
to the login page - but after submitting the login/password, again nothing
would happen...maybe the developers only tested with IE :-(
I'm using W2k 5.0 sp-4 all latest upgrades as of 5/16/05 with Firefox/1.0.4 and
have the same problem with a workaround.

Click e-mail and more
blank page comes up with "Done" on lower left micro-status line.
Click "Back" icon
Click e-mail and more and the verizon e-mail page comes up.

It just doesn't come up the first time, it always takes two tries.

This bug has had no comments for a long time. Statistically, we have found that
bug reports that have not been confirmed by a second user after three months are
highly unlikely to be the source of a fix to the code.

While your input is very important to us, our resources are limited and so we
are asking for your help in focussing our efforts. If you can still reproduce
this problem in the latest version of the product (see below for how to obtain a

you still believe we should implement it, please visit the URL of this bug
(given at the top of this mail) and add a comment to that effect, giving more
reproduction information if you have it.

If it is not a problem any longer, you need take no action. If this bug is not
changed in any way in the next two weeks, it will be automatically resolved.
