This happens on Mozilla 1.4.3. 
When I download a picture from web page using right click, "download error"
dialog appear. The "download error" also appears when save a page.
It is a regression of the security patch of bug 240053. It should be integrated
with the patch of bug 240367.
hm... that bug's patch mentions STATUS_READING... so it might be fixable by
applying bug 240367's patch (=stab in the dark). that should be a really low
risk patch.
patch for bug 240053 introduced two transport status, but the download manager
does not recognise them and see them as error status. I have tried bug 240367's
patch and it fixes this bug. Can we port it to mozilla1.4 branch?
