Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. set browser.tabs.showSingleWindowModePrefs to true
2. go to "tools/options.../advanced/tabbed browsing/force link that open new
windows to open in". Set it to "a new tab"
3. visit this page: http://www.eagames.com/redesign/home.jsp
4. click on the vote button on the poll section, a popup should open in the
background
5. close the tab
6. firefox crashes





Note that I am using the moox M1 optimized build for firefox 1.0

Confirmed as described with FF 1.0 non-optimized build. Interestingly enough, when: 

  browser.link.open_newwindow.restriction = 1

This crash does *not* occur.

Please only report bugs against official mozilla.org builds, and crash reports
without talkback IDs aren't very useful.

It appears to be a dupe, if you can do this in an official build and get a
talkback ID that'd be great.

No point in having two months old bug reported against a 3rd party build without
a talkback id and with reporter not replying. Duping.
