Proposal: Handle Cookie Manager, Password Manager and Image Manager From "Tools"
on Tool Bar like they are handled in Mozilla. This way cookie, password and
image handling for individual sites can be changed "on the fly" as you are
working on a site. By not putting the Cookie Manager, Password Manager and
Image Manager as a drop down in "tools" you get stuck going into options. Not fun.

You filed this bug on Mozilla... did you mean to file it on Firefox?

I would like to second this request. I sometimes have to go back to Mozilla 1.4
for a certain site because I can't figure out what blocked cookies are causing
it not to work correctly.
I would like to see the Tools: Forms, Images, Cookie, and Popup per-site menus
from Mozilla in Firefox. They save lots of time.
A related bug report requested a list of recently blocked cookies. LiveHTTP
headers could probably be used to implement this feature, which would help in
finding the correct cookies to unblock.

I also agree with this request and have voted for it, and I would like to ask:
is there a chart somewhere, comparing features between the mozilla browser and
firefox? I think it's a shame that each of them lacks some features that the
other doesn't? I am sure that this feature request is not the only one that
explicitly compares between these two browsers. See, for example, bugs 256077,
272800 and 75731 (which ask for features from firefox to be implemeted in mozilla).
I apologize if this question is not in place. I tried to google for this
information but found nothing valueable.

I also miss this feature in Firefox, anything happened in the last months about it?

This is extensionmaterial
Easier acces automatically means more menu items (most devs are alergic to the last)
Mike, any ideas ? (INVA/NEW/ ?)

Adding low frequency tools to the drop-down menu isn't the best sol'n here, IMO.
Instead, I think this falls into a more general bucket of "things that need to
be displayed in some 'status' area". An icon appears in this status area,
clicking on it allows the "Allow this time only | Edit options ..." actions.
Updating the summary and targetting to future.

I disagree strongly with the substitution of a completely different change from
that requested by reporter. If you're not willing to allow the change, make it
RESOLVED WONTFIX, but don't pretend we didn't ask for what we did ask for.

The request was: "By not putting the Cookie Manager, Password Manager and Image
Manager as a drop down in "tools" you get stuck going into options. Not fun."
The suggested solution was to add a direct mechanism into the tools menu. I
don't think that my revision of the proposal was that drastically different, but
if you'd rather, it takes little time for me to do this the other way, too.
