Messenger will now start and let you add your friend. But, the Yahoo! Messenger does not load. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Log into your Yahoo! account 2. Click on "My Account", enter password and click Continue. 3. Click on Edit/Create Profiles 4. Click on your account name link (you should now be viewing http://profiles.yahoo.com/<your account name>) 5. Click on "Add to friend list" Actual Results: Result: The page displays: "Yahoo! Messenger will now start and let you add your friend. Please wait..." The Yahoo! Messenger never starts. Expected Results: I would expect that either the Yahoo! Web Messenger or the Yahoo! Messenger client would get launched. I have downloaded the Mime Type editor extension and added a mime type entry containing: File type: application/ymsgr Extentions: yps,ymg Program: Yahoo! Messenger
This problem still shows up with Firefox 1.0.4 for Mac OS/X 10.3.9.
