Open firefox and some tabs within it
Go to print preview of a web page.
press escape from the preview

When you return the file menu bar is missing. The tabs are visible.

There is something more to reproduce the bug:

From the preview enter a number greater than the actual pages in preview and hit
enter.  After that you may press escape to close the preview.  The menu bar will
be hidden now.  

This happens with all the previews [of web pages, source code of page, etc.]

Menu bar and navigation toolbar disappear everytime you go in File - Print
Preview and then press F5 (a webpage must be shown!).

bug 275525 has another way to trigger this.
I also had this happen, but I do not know how I triggered it.

Sure fire method (works on FFox 1.0.5) to trigger this bug:
1. view home page
2. click any link
3. print preview
4. use mouse back button (5 button mouse required)
5. hit close
you are now stuck in the print preview.
(hope you have sessionsaver installed or you lose all tabs when you give up!)

There is one more method for this:

Goto a meta refreshing page like the page you get after signing out from Yahoo!
mail.  Go to print preview before the page refreshes.  Now click 'Page setup'
and change some values.  Click Ok.  During this time the page is refreshed (app.
10 secs.).  As u come back all the open tabs are made visible as also the Print
tool bar.  Now you cannot close this view and go to the main window.  The menu
bar and navigation toolbar are lost.

This has been there from firefox 1.0 and is still continuing in the latest trunk.
