Other searches like google, yahoo, wikipedia (EN) work just fine. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. open firefox 2. adjust search to "Wikipedia (DE) 3. enter any search term with umlauts Actual Results: The search does not find anything because the umlaut is replaced with a question mark Expected Results: give me a result page for the "nasenbär" animal :)
Same thing is Bug 265579 for google (de). Duplicate?
