Details

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.5) Gecko/20041107 Firefox/1.0
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.5) Gecko/20041107 Firefox/1.0

I have three different mail accounts on the same pop3 server. The accounts have
different user names, passwords and e-mail addresses. When mail arrives on one
account they seem to be sent to the Inbox of all three accounts. I'm not using a
global inbox. Filters get confused, read statuses (or is it statii?) don't sync
etc. Also, I often get loads of popup dialogs stating that there was a problem
truncating the Inbox.

Reproducible: Sometimes
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Make sure you have more than one mail accoun on the same pop3 server.
2. Define these accounts i T-bird.
3. Receive mail.

Actual Results:
See "Detais" above.

Expected Results:
Placed mail in the correct mailboxes and applied the correct filters.
(Q1)What version of Thunderbird build? See Help/about Thunderbird
(Q2)Did you newly define accounts through Thunderbird's UI on current Thunderbird?
If yes, and if you set same directry to "Local Directry" of all accounts,
    this is user error.

Or migrated from Mozilla or Netscape or old version of Thunderbird?
If yes, this is probably DUP of bug 268034.
See "Local Directry" in "Server Settings" of all accounts.
WFM - I have 5 accounts on a single POP3 server, and each works just fine.

Using TB 0.9
I migrated from Mozilla 1.7 to T-bird 0.8 and then upgraded to 0.8. The local
folder setting was of course the problem. I made two copies of the folder and
changed the settings of two of the account and now it seems to work fine. Thanks
WADA.
Correction: "upgraded to 0.8" above should be "upgraded to 0.9".
