User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.5) Gecko/20041107 Firefox/1.0
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.5) Gecko/20041107 Firefox/1.0

I have two browsers running. If I am working on one page and the other browser
refreshes (via a java script running on the page) the refreshed page
automatically pops back up. Very frustrating if there is a corporate chat
refreshing every 20 seconds and I'm working on the other page. Any way of
disabling that?

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open a browser with a java refresh script running in it.
2. Open a second browser.
3. wait until the java refresh script runs and the refresh screen pops on top.

Actual Results:
The browser switched.

Expected Results:
make a sound or nothing at all.

Tried it here, could not reproduce. Second browser in background refreshed
repeatedly, without switching windows.
