Frame acts like javascript event onMouseout, while the mouse is moved on the
layer part which is over the IFRAME. See
http://home.planet.nl/~jespe006/try/index.html. In normal circumstances
onMouseout event is only valid when leaving the layer and not when you are on
the layer and the IFRAME is below the layer.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.See the code at the example.
2.
3.

Actual Results:
It seems the onMouseout event gets executed when you move the mouse over the
layer on the part which is above the IFRAME.

Expected Results:
In normal circumstances onMouseout event is only valid when leaving the layer.
Which in on beneath the layer is not important.

I've not much experience with coding javascript and DOM. The page works well
under M$IE, but that is also saying nothing. I've passed the code through w3C
validator and it contains no errors.

But Firefox and Mozilla are great browsers :-)
This is a known issue. Please find the original bug and mark this duplicate.

bug reports that have not been confirmed by a second user after three months are
highly unlikely to be the source of a fix to the code.
