It'd be easier to paste URLs into the location bar if you could clear it with a click. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: NA

If you don't want selecting text in the Location bar to alter your clipboard, just access it with CTRL+L. Also, pressing your middle mouse button over the document area in Firefox makes Firefox open the URL from your clipboard, so the feature you're requesting isn't really that needed.
