find bar "Find Next" , "Find Previous" buttons do nothing

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.7.5) Gecko/20041109 Firefox/1.0 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.7.5) Gecko/20041109 Firefox/1.0 When I launch the find bar with Ctrl-F and enter text in the text box then click onf Find Next or Find Previous , nothing happens. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Load any page with text on it 2. Ctrl-F 3. Type text that appears on the page in the text box 4. Click Find Next or Find Previous Actual Results: Nothing happens Expected Results: The next/previous instance of the word should be highlighted and if it is off-screen then the screen should scroll This happens in a plain vanilla profile with no extensions.

Click Find Next or Find Previous I had a similar experience on my 1.0 version on FreeBSD, and one of other users on the ports list suggested I delete my .mozilla directory, and this did end up rectifying the situation for me. Make sure you save off any important bookmarks somewhere of course...

The problem is no longer present in 20041205 (it now works in both windows and linux)
