User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.7.5) Gecko/20041107 Firefox/1.0 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.7.5) Gecko/20041107 Firefox/1.0 When installing plugins, there is some strange 2 second delay. This is annoying if I install many plugins at once from local disk in fresh firefox installation. I think it will be better to have the extra yes/no confirmation instead of this delay. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3.
This delay is for security reasons, see bug 236056. With Firefox you can't change the delay, see bug 245737 comment 7. Bug 245737 is about to use the same pref like in Seamonkey to customize the delay. You have to confirm anyway. What you want is delay = 0. Marking as dupe. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 245737 ***
