Details
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.4.2) Gecko/20040308 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.4.2) Gecko/20040308 After a succssful installation of Thunderbird 0.9 (fresh donwload) on a Red Hat Linux 9 system, the auto import appered to succeed. After further inspection, mail folders were duplicated on email accounts with the same domain. For example: one@example.com , two@example.com and three@example.com were set up as separate account in Mozilla Mail 1.4.2. When these were imported to Thunderbird, folders from 1, 2, and 3 @examples.com were merged togethers and displayed in the same email account. At teh same time, no email could be found in the "Inbox" for any account. Reproducible: Didn't try Steps to Reproduce: 1. Create 2-3 email accounts in mozilla mail that reside under the same domain. 2. Create unique folders under each email account. 3. Install Thunderbird and import email. Actual Results: This is not a test system, but what I experienced. I can further describe my set-up and provide screen shots if that would help. $ rpm -q mozilla-mail mozilla-mail-1.4.2-0.9.0 Initial set-up in email from Mozilla: one@example.com - pop two@example.com - pop three@example.com - pop four@example.com - pop info@anotherdomain.com - pop job@myjob.com - imap Installed T-bird, imported... the accounts remained separate, but folders were all merged in the accounts that shared a domain. My system is still in this state. Expected Results: Maintained the folder integrity for each account that shared a domain (and that did not share a domain - which it seemed to do correctly). Also, it should have maintained the Inbox integrity for each account. None that I can think of at this time.
