User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.7.3) Gecko/20040910
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.7.3) Gecko/20040910

The non-first times I use the find functionality within the history the search
is performed but mozilla does not make the window containing the generated
results active. hence it appears as if nothing happens.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Press CTRL-H to bring up the history.
2. Press CTRL-F to bring up the search dialog.
3. Type "sdfgsdfgsdfgsdfgzdfpapap" and press OK.
4. Now the results window popsup, typically empty given the weird search query.
5. Without closing the results, select the history window again.
6. Press CTRL-F to bring up the search dialog.
7. Enter "dfugyyusdfigtsydfgsdfg" and press OK.

Actual Results:
Nothing happens after the second search, the OK button appears as a dummy. It
does not even remove the find dialog and it certainly does not switch to the
results window or create a new such window. However, if the second search is a
valid one (one that actually finds something) you will notice that the results
window actually contain the correct results the problem is that it's not
reactivated.

Expected Results:
I would expect either a new results window or that the contents inside the old
results window was updated (which is ok) and that this old window was
activated/displayed/popped-up (which is NOT working atm).

This bug has had no comments for a long time. Statistically, we have found that
bug reports that have not been confirmed by a second user after three months are
highly unlikely to be the source of a fix to the code.

While your input is very important to us, our resources are limited and so we

this problem in the latest version of the product (see below for how to obtain a

(given at the top of this mail) and add a comment to that effect, giving more
reproduction information if you have it.
