When loading up my.yahoo.com, firefox (v 1.0) hangs for at least 30 seconds
before loading the page.  This does not happen for the login page, but once I
login, this occurs.   This happens on both linux and windows machines.  Other
browswers (Konquerer, IE) have no trouble loading the page.  This could possibly
be something specific to my my.yahoo.com page.  This is new this morning.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. go to my.yahoo.com
2. login
3.

Actual Results:  
Firefox hangs and becomes unresponsive for 30 seconds or more.  Running top (in
linux) or viewing active processes (in windows) shows that firefox is using most
of the CPU (>90%).

Expected Results:  
Page should load quickly as it does in other browswers.

I am having the exact same problem on Windows XP with both Firefox 1.0 and
Mozilla 1.7.2.  I am also having the problem on Linux with Mozilla 1.7.2.  It
started happening this morning for me, also.  I just noticed the new
customization options on the My Yahoo page this morning, so the browser problem
could be related to that.  Maybe this bug report should be filed under Firefox
and/or Mozilla instead of Tech Evangelism.

So basically, I think that page basically suffers from bug 141818. 
Bug 141818 just got fixed and the trunk (1.8a) builds of 2004-11-17 have the fix. 
So if someone could test my yahoo and verify this is no problem anymore in the
latest trunk build, that would be great!

I just tried the latest trunk build w/ my.yahoo.com and it works fine.  When
will there be a patch for firefox?  Looks like the TV listings were the culprit
on my.yahoo.com...I've taken them off of my start page and that works fine in
firefox now.
