User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8a4) Gecko/20040927 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8a4) Gecko/20040927 Thousands of alarms are generated when a task is created with bad parameters (start/due date & alarm issued ... before start/due date) -> Mozilla blocked every time the ics file is open !!! DANGER: if the ics file is on a web_dav server! Callendar blocked on each PC that will synchronise with the server... Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Create an task 2. Specify a due date (no start date) 3. Select the alarm checkbutton. (0 minute "before the task starts") Actual Results: 12.000 alarms to be aknowledged... Calendar and Mozilla are frozen... Soution... Kill process... Update manually the ics file locally and on the server... Situation is recovered... Expected Results: If no start date/time is specified, the alarm "... before the task starts" should not be an option for the emission of the alarm. (and then if no due date/time is specified, no "... before the task is due" should be in the list)
Which version of calendar are you using? This might be fixed in recent versions
(In reply to comment #1) > Which version of calendar are you using? > This might be fixed in recent versions This happens with version Mozilla Calendar 2004091012-cal and also with Mozilla Sunbird/0.2a
(In reply to comment #1) > Which version of calendar are you using? > This might be fixed in recent versions OK... I've downloaded version 2004111214-cal. Problem fixed in the new version.
