User-Agent: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.0; .NET CLR 1.1.4322) Build Identifier: Thunderbird version 0.9 (20041103) In the upper pane where all of my email is shown in a list, the date field is not showing the date, only the time, on any NEW emails sent or received. The time shows fine, but the date is missing. I like to sort on the date so I can find an email that I sent, say a few days ago. But, the field only contains the time so sorts on that information are worthless. Info shown in header of actual email Sent: "Mon 11/15/2004 4:38 PM" Info shown in "Date" field in Thunderbird "4:38 PM " Info shown on sample old mail imported from MS OE "Sun 10/10/2004 10:38 PM" As you can see, all of the date information appears correctly for all of the email that was imported from Outlook Express when I installed Thunderbird this morning. for today's messages, we show the time, and no date. Tomorrow, we'll show the date for yesterday's messages...Is that what you're seeing?

I have a similar problem. If I add a new item (sent or received), the date appears correctly for a few days. Eventually, the list of correctly appearing messages gets reduced as items start to lose their dates.
Problem still not solved in build 20050508. Will it be solved in W2k ? Is it working OK in XP Professional SP2 ?
