please get talkback working, crash again, run components\talkback.exe, and copy
the incident id to this bug, thanks.
I cannot get TalkBack to work. It does not detect the crash. Also, it only
crashes for some feeds.

Bad feeds:
http://rss.allrecipes.com/2/3.xml
http://rss.allrecipes.com/2/7.xml
http://rss.allrecipes.com/2/6.xml
http://rss.allrecipes.com/2/1.xml

Good feeds:
http://pokefor.greenchu.de/meowth346/feeds/updates/

These are all the feeds I am using at the time.
I cannot repro this on linux fc2 using today's build (or y'day's bits on mac).
I'll try it on the latest build as well (on WinXP).
I tried it on the latest trunk build, and it still crashes. Here is the
TalkBack ID: TB2045349M.

Summary: crash if I try to forward an article from a RSS feed → crash if I try to forward an article from a RSS feed [@ nsQueryInterface::operator]
I'm not happy. In Thunderbird 1.0RC (and 1.0 final), the issue is resolved by
forwarding the article as a link. Surely, there must be another way to fix the
problem.
I was just going to submit an enhancement request, but it sounds like it's part
of this bug: I forward a few items a day of interest to a mailling list of some
friends, and just started using Thunderbird and its rss feeds. Being able to
forward the summaries with the embedded links would save me a lot of time...
This is an automated message, with ID "auto-resolve01".

This bug has had no comments for a long time. Statistically, we have found that
bug reports that have not been confirmed by a second user after three months are
highly unlikely to be the source of a fix to the code.

While your input is very important to us, our resources are limited and so we
are asking for your help in focussing our efforts. If you can still reproduce
this problem in the latest version of the product (see below for how to obtain a
copy) or, for feature requests, if it's not present in the latest version and
you still believe we should implement it, please visit the URL of this bug
(given at the top of this mail) and add a comment to that effect, giving more
reproduction information if you have it.

If it is not a problem any longer, you need take no action. If this bug is not
changed in any way in the next two weeks, it will be automatically resolved.
Thank you for your help in this matter.

The latest beta releases can be obtained from:
Firefox: http://www.mozilla.org/projects/firefox/
Thunderbird: http://www.mozilla.org/products/thunderbird/releases/1.5beta1.html
Seamonkey: http://www.mozilla.org/projects/seamonkey/
Still just sends a link to the article, like 1.0. I prefer the old 0.9 way of
forwarding, as an HTML message. Why was this changed? Could the bug not be fixed?

Perhaps an enhancement bug was already filed. If you don't find one feel free to make one.

closing this bug WFM - no crash with forward or edit as new - version 3 alpha 1 (20060608)
