It would be nice to be able to simply drag a mailto: link to a new message
To:/CC:/BCC: field in Apple Mail and have it just work properly.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.
2.
3.

Actual Results:
Right now, it inserts it as the string 'mailto:address@blah.com' (obviously with
the right address in there)

Expected Results:
I guess it shouldn't copy over the mailto: part in this case.
I'm not sure why dragging a mailto: link to a message field would be prefereable
to simply clicking on a link and letting the existing system work. AFAIK other
browsers behave exactly like Camino and drag the entire contents of the href
into Mail's message field.
My usecase is this:

When I click a link it opens up a new mail message for each click.

Suppose I have multiple links that I want to include in that single new mail
message? What do I do then?

Yep, that's a reasonable use case. Can't see an existing request for this so
confirming the bug.

I might look at this once I've finished cleaning up the context menu for mailto:
links under bug 166958.
