OK - I guess I was confused about the difference between Full Screen and Maximize/Expand. They seem to operate the same way on the Mac, but they are different on Linux. Sometimes the Status Bar goes away when I do an Expand on the Mac, and sometimes it doesn't. I'll try to reproduce the bad case and open a new bug. I still have a case where I can have multiple Firefox windows open and one will have the Status Bar shown while others don't, even though they Status Bar option is checked on the View menu. I can't seem to find a way to reproduce it - I'll keep trying.
