When I click on the hotmail link in the 'bookmarks toolbar', the webpage opens
up in my 'sidebar' which previously contained all my bookmarks. When I click on
the same link in the bookmark held in my sidebar, or if I manually type the URL
into the address bar - the page correctly opens in the main page...
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Select View/Sidebar/Bookmarks
2. Go to www.hotmail.com
3. Bookmark Hotmail
4. Drag Hotmail bookmark from sidebar to 'bookmarks toolbar'
5. Go to any other site
6. Click on hotmail bookmark in 'bookmarks toolbar'
7. Restore sidebar by going to View/Sidebar/Bookmarks
8. Click on hotmail bookmark in sidebar - should not replace sidebar content
9. Go to any other site
10. Manually type in URL to address bar - should not replace sidebar content
11. Check other links in 'bookmark toolbar' - should not replace sidebar content
Actual Results:
All sidebar content is replaced by Hotmail website content - main page is unaffected
Expected Results:
Displayed hotmail site in main page

Works for me: I can't find any way to have adding a bookmark and then dragging
it from the sidebar to the toolbar cause its "Load this bookmark in the sidebar"
property to become checked.
Do you have any more detail for step 3 - adding the bookmark in some particular
way other than just Bookmarks menu/Bookmark This Page? Do you really mean
Reproducible: Always (you delete the bookmark, do it all again, and again, and
every time it happens)? Is it only for Hotmail, or for every bookmark you add
and move in the same way?

This only happened for Hotmail - no other bookmark... I've since added several
more bookmarks from hotmail, but can't get the bug to reproduce - although the
original bookmark in the toolbar still exhibits the same (unexpected) behavior -
so I'm just going to delete the old toolbar bookmark, and use one of the new
ones which functions properly. Where is the property to load in the sidebar
located anyway?

That option is in the bookmark properties. You may have inadvertently checked it
when modifying the bookmark. Please resolve it as INVALID if this is the case.
