User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux ppc; en-US; rv:1.8a5) Gecko/20041114
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux ppc; en-US; rv:1.8a5) Gecko/20041114

When the site navigation bar is shown, the outline of the tab-bar close button
is not shown correctly when the mouse pointer is over this close button: only
the first line (light line with a black pixel on the right) appears; the rest
remains unchanged. There are no problems when the site navigation bar is not
visible.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Make sure that the tab bar is visible.
2. Select View -> Show/Hide -> Site Navigation Bar -> Show Always.
3. Place the mouse pointer over the close button of the tab bar.
Actual Results:
A light line with one or two black pixels on the right appears at the top of
this button. In fact, this seems to be the top line of what should really appear.

Expected Results:
A 3D button should have been shown, like with the other similar buttons (e.g.
those of the navigation toolbar).

I've also tried "Show Only As Needed", and the problem really depends on the
visibility of the site navigation bar.
Similar problem with the "Open a new tab" button (at the left of the tab bar),
but I get a few more lines and the left column: it seems that the image appears
*below* the background of the tab bar.

This bug has had no comments for a long time. Statistically, we have found that
bug reports that have not been confirmed by a second user after three months are
highly unlikely to be the source of a fix to the code.

this problem in the latest version of the product (see below for how to obtain a
