I can't drag a link from another application (mail, IE...) into Firefox.
I used to do that with IE/Maxthon it's really usefull.

2) I would like to be able to drag a selection of text (an url for ex) from an
external app to firefox. Then firefox will open that url (or search that text on
google).

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. drag a link from an external app
2. drop into FF window


Actual Results:  
Nothing...
(/) cursor

Expected Results:  
FF should open the link in a new tab.

I can drag and drop links from external applications into firefox.
