Here's a screenshot: http://users.telenet.be/SkyStudios/wrongicon.png
The icon in the upper left corner is still the correct Firefox icon, but in the
taskbar it has changed to the Windows folder icon. I can't reproduce this
problem and I don't know what caused it, my eye just fell on it.

Reproducible: Couldn't Reproduce
Steps to Reproduce:
1.
2.
3.
Have same issue; quick launch button for Firefox pic has changed to generic
window icon. Right click, properties, change icon etc gives Windows (XP, SP2)
message:

"The file %ProgramFiles%\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe contains no icons. Choose
an icon from the list or specify a different file."

I can see the (firefox) icon in the firefox title bar and when the app is minimized.

Downloading 1.0.4 did not change.

Button changed spontaneously two days ago.

All other icons seem to be OK at present.

Windows or Firefox issue?
The problem fixed itself. I'm thinking it's something to do with Windows' icon
caching, but I can't demonstrate it...

I think the strangest thing was where Windows said that the exe file did not
have any icons in it - I opened the exe file in Visual Studio resource editor
and all the icons were there - which means VS could find them - go figure.

This bug has had no comments for a long time. Statistically, we have found that
bug reports that have not been confirmed by a second user after three months are
highly unlikely to be the source of a fix to the code.

While your input is very important to us, our resources are limited and so we
are asking for your help in focussing our efforts. If you can still reproduce
this problem in the latest version of the product (see below for how to obtain a
copy) or, for feature requests, if it's not present in the latest version and
you still believe we should implement it, please visit the URL of this bug
(given at the top of this mail) and add a comment to that effect, giving more
reproduction information if you have it.

If it is not a problem any longer, you need take no action. If this bug is not
changed in any way in the next two weeks, it will be automatically resolved.
