When you activate the bookmarks side bar (CTRL+B), all folders are open by
default. To close all open folders, you have to click each folder to collapse
it. I wish that there is a button or a context menu entry to collapse all open
folders at once. Since there is already a "Collapse" context menu entry, perhaps
adding a "collapse all" entry below that wouldn't be much of a problem. Other
browsers have that too, but Firefox is my browser of choice and it would be
great if that feature would exist there as well.
Thanks in advance & keep up the good work!

All folders should be closed after the described action above.

This bug has had no comments for a long time. Statistically, we have found that
bug reports that have not been confirmed by a second user after three months are
highly unlikely to be the source of a fix to the code.

While your input is very important to us, our resources are limited and so we
are asking for your help in focussing our efforts. If you can still reproduce
this problem in the latest version of the product (see below for how to obtain a
copy) or, for feature requests, if it's not present in the latest version and
you still believe we should implement it, please visit the URL of this bug
(given at the top of this mail) and add a comment to that effect, giving more
reproduction information if you have it.

If it is not a problem any longer, you need take no action. If this bug is not
changed in any way in the next two weeks, it will be automatically resolved.
Thank you for your help in this matter.

Is this still a particular enhancement that needs to be resolved or is it in the latest Firefox release? ie 3.6?
Thanks for getting back to this "issue" after all this time.
I made the original request for a user that was migrating from opera to firefox back in the day. He used to have many bookmarks and was used to collapse them all in opera and was missing the same functionality in firefox. Since that time, he has used firefox as his primary browser and it is my understanding that he still does. With that in mind, I guess he can do without that feature being added to firefox.
This means that you can close this "bug" and work on other more important stuff.

Thanks again and keep up the good work with firefox!
