I was using the beta version of firefox 1.0 and was great, so since the final
version is out, I decide the installed. so after this, while I'm seeing some
pages that containg a flash and elaborated javascripts, the web content start
jumping, and is imposible to read anything. ir really no matter if I close the
windows and I open a new one, or either close the tab in what the jumping
started. I have to close by the task manager all the process tree for FIREFOX.EXE.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.
2.
3.
I described above, not in a exact secuence of events or in one we page. it
happends on www.clarin.com , www.ebay.com , kawiforums.com , and sometimes, in
those pages, nothing happend.
Actual Results:
close FIREFOX.exe in task manager all the process tree and start again firefox,
and this is not guarantee to the web content start doing it again. is more
likely delaying the process of jumping.

Expected Results:
not jumping at all.

Summary: the interior web content start jumping in all the tabs or in new firefox windows. → the interior web content start jumping in all the tabs or in new firefox windows.
Version: unspecified → 1.0 Branch
There are quite a few bugs open about jumping content, this is usually caused by
empty bookmarks toolbar or a custom theme (Firefox or Windows). Reporter, please
find a duplicate bug and resolve this bug as a duplicate of that.

I am having this same problem. My start page is set to Yahoo, and it usually
starts jumping around. Even connecting to Firefox central from Yahoo make it
start jumping. The browers also starts jumping around on, like what has been
said before, image or link intensive pages. Sometimes reloading the browser
works, sometimes not. A couple of times, when i go to a new tabbed page, and the
new tabbed page starts jumping, the old tabbed page starts jumping as well.
