BuildID: 2000020708
It is possible to select and copy a URL in the main bar through the use of
hot-keys. However in Edit menu "Copy" remains inactive. Meanwhile "Past" still
works with the main menu.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Select a piece of text in the URL bar.
2.Goto menu Edit -> Copy. It keeps inactive
3.Now use selection and make Ctrl-C (Copy hotkey in my system). Past it
somewhere. It works.
Actual Results: Edit->Copy remains inactive in any case. However the
copy/buffering/past system works correctly.
Expected Results: Edit->Copy should be active after selection.

Akkana--is this a duplicate of one of your bugs or one of Simon's bugs?

Might be a dup of one of saari's focus bugs. He and hyatt fixed a bunch of them
last night, so it's worth trying again today to see if it's better.

tried this in today's build on win98 and it is still broken. Akkana, can you
please narrow this down and get it assigned to the correct engineer?

There are focus bugs (with an infinite number of dups reported) which prevent
copy from working, which are especially bad on linux. Saari is working on the
focus problem. Marking this as a dup of one of his bugs.
