User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.5) Gecko/20041109 Firefox/1.0 (MOOX M3) Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.5) Gecko/20041109 Firefox/1.0 (MOOX M3) Every folder has a setting "Check this folder for new messages". What if you always want to know about messages for all folders? I do, and it would be a headache to enable this option for all folders. More importantly, doing this completely disrupts the new mail notification popup. I have a bunch of folders for mailing lists and feeds, automatically routed into the folders on the server end using maildrop. I certainly don't want a popup whenever these folders receive new mail. Mail trickles into these folders by the hundreds, and I don't want a popup saying "53 new messages received" every minute. I only want the notification popup for mail specifically addressed to me, ie. that which ends up in my inbox. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3.
Same problem here, i have also a lot of folders for mailinglists and isn't nice to enable this option for all 20 folders. A default checkbox in the account settings like: "[x] Check for new messages in all subscribed folders" would be very helpfull.
