Description

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; rv:1.7.3) Gecko/20040913 Firefox/0.10
Build Identifier: Thunderbird version 0.9 (20041103)

RFC 3798, chapter 3 says:

"The envelope sender address (i.e., SMTP MAIL FROM) of the MDN MUST be
null (<>), specifying that no Delivery Status Notification messages
or other messages indicating successful or unsuccessful delivery are
to be sent in response to an MDN."

However Thunderbird does set MAIL FROM.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Send a MDN.
Actual Results:
MAIL FROM has same value as if I send ordinary e-mail.

Expected Results:
MAIL FROM should be null (<>).

Thunderbird did not set MAIL FROM at all. I guess it means the problem is still valid.

Thunderbird 52.0.1 (32-bit)
Windows 7 64-bit
