The big flash of red and red triangle telling me Phrase not found is more than enough for me. If I'm playing music pretty loud that sound is loud, too. Not to mention if I accidently type a letter wrong while I'm typing something fast in there the keyboard buffer into it slows down and feels the need to alert me by playing a sound for each additional letter. I'm not suggesting removing this, I guess there's gotta be somebody somewhere who *likes* this behavor (the blind?), but it would be really nice if there was an option to turn it off, thanks =) Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3.

You can turn off the sound through a preference in about:config. 1. Type about:config into the location bar 2. Find the line accessibility.typeaheadfind.enablesound 3. Double click it to toggle it to false 4. You may have to restart Firefox for this to have an effect
