In Safari or Explorer, if I launch the program or open a new window, I can begin
typing a URL before the window opens, and they will "catch" my typing. When I
try to do this with firefox, my mac responds with each keypress with a "ding",
going "ding ding ding ding ding-ding ding" and doesn't catch the text being
entered until the new window's fully loaded.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Command N while firefox is running
2.Start typing a URL immediately
3.Firefox doesn't hear it (this may have to do with the auto focus on the
google/firefox start page)

Actual Results:  
Firefox dings or ignores my typing

Expected Results:  
The first thing that firefox should do before it loads the GUI, bookmarks,
preferences, etc., is listen for typing and store it, then when it's fully
loaded, dump the stored keystrokes into the URL bar
