RESOLVED DUPLICATE of bug 257698

People

(Reporter: jepayne, Assigned: bugzilla)

Details

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.7.5) Gecko/20041107 Firefox/1.0
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.7.5) Gecko/20041107 Firefox/1.0

When I open Firefox 1.0 Preferences and click the drop-down menu for Cookies,
the window is just wide enough to see the "exceptions" button, and a tiny part
of a button to the right ("view cookies"), but no lettering is visible on the
right-hand button. I only discovered the button was named "view cookies" by
manually dragging the window to make it wider. If I widen the window, click OK,
and close, it reverts to the smaller size when it's opened again, and I have to
manually widen it once more.

I find no mention of this problem on your site, so it may be specific to my
system, but I've never seen this happen in any other application. It was also
present in the "Firefox 1.0pre" and 0.9x versions.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. (See "Details" above)
2.
3.

Actual Results:
(See "Details" above)

Expected Results:
Made the window wide enough to see the "View Cookies" button without manual
intervention

System: iMac 1GHz 17" LCD; OSX 10.3.4; no questionable 3rd-party utilities or hacks
