User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.5) Gecko/20041107 Firefox/1.0
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.5) Gecko/20041107 Firefox/1.0

Using:
Firefox 1.0 (prod release)
myPHPAdmin 2.5.3
mySQL 4.0.20

When viewing a CHAR(200) field in the myPHPAdmin edit form, if the value of the
field contains the HTML of <BR> everything past that field will be truncated.
Example:
Hello there <BR> I use Firefox
will only show as:
Hello there

Problem is completely reproducible and problem does not occur using Internet
Explorer.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Open a myPHPAdmin session to a mySQL database
2. Have a field in a table defined as CHAR(200)
3. Inserter a value into the field that contains <BR>
4. Using firefox, Query the database, display the records.
5. Click on the edit button, part ov the value will disappear

Actual Results:
See the above

Expected Results:

This bug has had no comments for a long time. Statistically, we have found that
bug reports that have not been confirmed by a second user after three months are
highly unlikely to be the source of a fix to the code.

this problem in the latest version of the product (see below for how to obtain a

(given at the top of this mail) and add a comment to that effect, giving more
reproduction information if you have it.

If it is not a problem any longer, you need take no action. If this bug is not
changed in any way in the next two weeks, it will be automatically resolved.
