User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.5) Gecko/20041107 Firefox/1.0 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.5) Gecko/20041107 Firefox/1.0 On the main page at http://www.lakecityfbc.org, there is a javascript image slideshow at the top of the page. It simply rotates a specified amount of images at preset intervals. It works fine with the exception that there is a "flicker" at approximately .5 seconds after each image loads. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. simply go to http://www.lakecityfbc.org 2. watch image slideshow at the top of page 3. Actual Results: flicker Expected Results: no flicker. IE seems to handle this ok so I don't know of any coding changes I could make but maybe there is something. This transition seems to work ok in IE. I am not sure if the individual that created this script ever intended for it to work outside of IE. It was obtained at http://www.dynamicdrive.com ...the script that is. Just "view source" on the main page at http://www.lakecityfbc.org (it's open) to see the embedded script.

I think this is basically the same bug as bug 187608. I can see the bug in Mozilla1.7, but I can't see it anymore in a trunk (1.8a) build of Firefox, dated 2004-11-19.
