I just moved from Mozilla Mail (1.7.3) to Thunderbird.

Import mail/pref did not work (crash report already sent a few weeks ago). So I
managed to copy the Mozilla Mail folder to the Thunderbird Mail folder.
Everything looked ok, except some folders/sub-folders which seemed to be empty.
I finally noticed that these folders had names containing accented characters,
e.g. "Télécom", as there were with Mozilla Mail.
Trying to rename the folders did not work - nothing was happening on OK.

The work around I found was to rename the mail files and folders directly from
the finder, without accented characters.
Once I restarted Thunderbird I could read again the folder content.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.
2.
3.

Expected Results:
Accented characters should be supported in folder names.

At least, such imported folders should not look like they are empty (risk of
spurrious user's deletion).
Identical symptoms, corrected in Tbird 1.0 (20041206)
