271064 - when I shutdown windows and have an open unsaved "Compose" window it doesnt ask wheather I want to save the Message

usually windows programs ask wheather unsaved work should be safed when they are
closed or windows is shutdown. 
If I close a "Compose" window, Thunderbird behaves correctly and asks me
wheather I want to safe the email. But if I shutdown windows it just exits
immediately deleting the unsaves message without asking me anything. 


Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Open Thunderbird
2.Click on Write
3.Type something in the message body
4.Shutdown Windows 

Actual Results:  
Thunderbird closes the "Compose" window without asking or saving.

Expected Results:  
Thunderbird should ask the user what to do, like it does when I close the
"Compose" window by myself (Directly without shutting down windows)

Bug 232252 reported the same thing; as I noted there, I am unable to reproduce 
the problem.  Can you provide any further information about how to make this 
happen?

Note that an empty compose window, or one that was opened with attachments but 
has no other data, closes without prompting.  That latter case is a bug, altho I 
don't know if it's been filed yet.

So if you are create a new message, write anything in the body and then shut
down windows you are asked by thunderbird wheather to save the message or not???

Well, I am not and I just asked a friend of mine to check wheather he can
reproduce this error and he was able to reproduce it. 
Both of us are using Windows XP Professional german but the english language
version of thunderbird.

What kind of further information do you want me to provide you?

There is a patch available at the dupe, but it's not checked in to builds yet.
