User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.7.3) Gecko/20040910
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.7.3) Gecko/20040910

When I upgraded from Mozilla 1.2.1 to Mozilla 1.7.3 I could not login to my email
account on Yahoo!. I have email accounts on other web sites that I am able to
login to without any problem. I have Mozilla 1.4b on another computer and was not
able to login with this version of the browser. I am able to login using IE.

I re-installed Mozilla 1.2.1 and was able to login to my Yahoo! email account.
The problem appears to be with the password because Yahoo brings up a page to
confirm my password.

After re-installing Mozilla 1.2.1 I did not install Java or any plug-ins.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Go to Yahoo! email login page
2. Enter user name and password
3.

Actual Results:
A password confirmation page opens, when you re-enter the password nothing
happens the page just re-freshes. I can not go any further.

Expected Results:
I should have been taken to my email account.
Product: Browser → Seamonkey
I wonder if this problem will be fixed? I reported yahoo login problems six
months ago and the same problem as the reported one is still happening in 1.7.5

Have you tried clearing your cookies?

Go to Tools, Cookie Manager, Manage Stored Cookies
Ensure Dont allow sites that set removed cookies... is NOT ticked
Delete all yahoo.com cookies
Go to Cookie Sites tab
Ensure no yahoo.com domains are in the list
I experience this same problem. After logging in, there is no page rendered
because of a JavaScript error.

Error: removeCookie is not defined

This bug has had no comments for a long time. Statistically, we have found that
bug reports that have not been confirmed by a second user after three months are
highly unlikely to be the source of a fix to the code.

While your input is very important to us, our resources are limited and so we
are asking for your help in focussing our efforts. If you can still reproduce
this problem in the latest version of the product (see below for how to obtain a

reproduction information if you have it.

If it is not a problem any longer, you need take no action. If this bug is not
changed in any way in the next two weeks, it will be automatically resolved.
